Tamworth's Member of Parliament Christopher Pincher has welcomed the Government's proposals to clamp down on ivory trading after a bill introduced in Parliament passed its first major hurdle to becoming law.
A ban on the sale of products containing microbeads came into force on Tuesday 19th June as part of the Government’s world-leading efforts to prevent these harmful pieces of plastic entering the marine environment.
I believe we must all receive dignified care in old age. With an ageing population, this is one of the biggest challenges our country faces. I support the Government's commitment to making sure this country works for everyone and that the most vulnerable in society gain the support they need.
