Remembrance Day in Tamworth

Today I had the honour of attending the Remembrance Day Service in Tamworth.  This year was particularly poignant as it marks 100 years since the end of World War One.

Chris has welcomed figures released this week by the Office for National Statistics showing that Tamworth still has a below average unemployment claimant count when compared to the rest of the United Kingdom.

Queens Global Initiative Award

I recently awarded five trees to Dosthill Park Wildlife Group as part of the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, a global initiative to create a ‘green’ canopy across the Commonwealth.
