Repairs to Chetwynd Bridge Approved

The much needed repairs to the Grade 2 listed road bridge on the A513 Croxall Road over the River Tame are set to begin.

While this is just outside of my constituency, I know that many residents make use of this bridge, particularly when driving to the National Memorial Arboretum.

Changes comnig to ESA & PIP Assessments

A number of you will know that I regularly raise issues with the DWP both locally and nationally about the challenges some residents face when having to attend multiple face to face assessments in Birmingham for their benefits.

Faster access to cannabis-based medicines

Following some large campaigns about children's health care last year, a good number of residents lobbied me to contact the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to ask for better access to cannabis-based medicines where there is a proven record of these medicines assisting people.

Casework Report - February

Boris Johnson has confirmed that housing is a top priority for Government so I am pleased that home buyers will soon be able to benefit from the creation of a New Homes Ombudsman.

Meeting with West Midlands Trains

Yesterday I met with the MD of West Midlands Railway to put forward the important issues you email and call me about. 🚂

Issues like cancelled and delayed trains, parking build ups in Shenstone, frequency of service and getting an update on when the new trains will be delivered.

LCF Mini bond scheme update

A number of residents in my area had invested in London Capital and Finance (LCF) mini-bonds, a scheme that many believed was under protection of the United Kingdom's Financial Compensation Scheme.
