Carers wanted across Staffordshire

Thousands of vulnerable residents in Staffordshire rely on personal care in their homes and this demand will increase as the Covid19 pandemic continues across the country.

Free Hospital Parking for NHS Staff

The Government is providing free car parking for our NHS and social care workers.  These workers will be able to park in on-street parking bays and council owned car parks without having to worry about cost or time restrictions.

MOT exemption for 6 months

A number of you have written to me with concerns about getting your vehicle MOT sorted.  While I can confirm that garages are on the essential list and so can remain open, the Department for Transport has granted a six month exemption for all cars test from 30 March.

IR35 Delayed

The government has announced it is delaying the reforms to the off-payroll working rules (IR35) from 6 April 2020 to 6 April 2021.
