I'm Christopher Pincher, Conservative Candidate for Tamworth. Due to early General Election, Parliament has dissolved as of November 6th and there are no Members of Parliament. All news, updates and views are from my time as the Member of Parliament. 

Brief George Bryan Update

Following the drop-in session held at the SRP Hospital last week, one of the ideas floated was that the George Bryan Centre may reopen for outpatients on a temporary basis while the consultation continues to assess the long term future of the building.

This is my last casework report under the current Parliament as I expect Parliament will dissolve next week for a General Election.

Delivering better education: A new Primary School for Tamworth

This week, local Tamworth MP Christopher Pincher received confirmation from the Department for Education that Fierte Multi Academy Trust has been given approval to sponsor a new primary free school in Anker Valley, which is proposed to open from September 2021.

Brexit update - GE on the way

Yesterday the Prime Minister brought forward a Bill for a General Election to be held on the 12th December.  He did this so we can elect a new Parliament and get Brexit done so that the country can move on.

UK Sausage Week

It is UK sausage week, a time to kick off your meals with a bang-er! The week is aimed at promoting local butchers, farmers and retailers who champion the sausage.

Air cadets visit Parliament

Today I had the pleasure of hosting the local air cadets on their visit to Parliament.

It was Brilliant to welcome the 1122 Marmion Sqn to Westminster.  They started their day by meeting Colonel Bob Stewart, who is MP for Beckenham.

Residents living in the villages know that I have been in contact with the Department for Culture Media and Sport, Department for Business and mobile phone operator for quite some time to try and improve rural mobile coverage.
