Thomas Cook info for Holiday Makers

Sadly in the early morning Thomas Cook went into administration. This is difficult news for holidaymakers but also for Thomas Cook staff. The Government and the Civil Aviation Authority are already working around the clock in what will be the largest peacetime repatriation operation to get everyone home.

All Thomas Cook customers wherever they are around the world, will be brought back to the United Kingdom on special free flights or booked onto another scheduled airline at no extra cost, no matter if you are ATOL protected or not. Everyone with a return flight to the United Kingdom within the 2 weeks will be brought home.

If you are in the United Kingdom and yet to travel, DO NOT go to the airport as your flight will not be leaving. If you are abroad then please visit www.thomascook.caa.co.uk or call 0300 303 2800 for more information. Flights back are already starting today and we will try to match them to the time and date of your return flight.

This is a very complex operation and we have drafted in aircraft from around the world. As the Minister for Europe and the Americas, I will be heavily involved in bringing Thomas Cook passengers back home. Please take advice from official channels and not any speculation on social media, as it may be incorrect.
