Self isolating essential workers - get tested

From today all key workers who are self-isolating can now apply for themselves and their immediate household to get tested for Covid19.

If your test turns out negative you can safely return to work as long as you are well enough, do not have a fever and anybody you live with also tests negative.

If the test is positive or somebody you live with is positive, you will need to continue self isolating.

You can make a self-referral for a test online using the link below or by making a request through your employer.

This is a test only to show if you have the virus right now, it is not an antibody test and does not show if you have had the virus in the past or if you are immune.  So even if your tests come through clear, please do continue to take good care, socially distancing wherever possible and washing your hands as appropriate.

The Government hopes to roll out further testing for a broader range of the public soon.
