bus route through the villages

The Lichfield City bus which serves young people for school journeys will be allowing the general public to use the bus from September.

Bus numbers 84, 88 81 and 82 will soon allow residents to make use of their services which pass Tamworth town centre and Ventura Park, hopefully improving public transport in the village.

The No 88 travels from Drayton Bassett to Fazeley to Tamworth Town Centre before looping back.

The No 82 bus travels through Edingale, Clifton Campville, Harlaston, Elford, Comberford to Rawlett School then Tamworth Town Centre.  The 84 takes a similar route, veering off for a slightly shorter distance between Edingale and Harlaston.

The No 81 goes from Edingale to John Taylor High.

The No 81,82 and 84 will run Monday to Fridays, starting at 7.45 to 17.43

The 88 in Drayton Bassett will run on Tuesdays only starting from 10:10 and finishing at 13:39

It's good progress and for anybody wishing to learn more visit the provider at www.lichfieldcity.com for the school routes, youth will of course take priority and the situation and uptake will continue to be monitored.
