It is National Apprenticeship Week and so this week I will be promoting apprenticeships available in the local area through my Facebook

It is so important that young people have a good understanding of all the options available to them, so they can make informed choices and go on to have successful careers.

That is why we are supporting more young people to access the opportunity to earn while they learn, with thousands of new options for training, right up to degree level, in every sector of the economy, building on our record of almost 5.4 million apprenticeship starts since 2010.

By putting apprenticeships side-by-side with undergraduate degrees, we can help students make the very best decisions for their career – getting into good jobs that help to grow the economy.

Apprenticeships across Tamworth are growing, from Chef work and Dentistry to teaching and engineering.  They are a great way to earn whilst you learn and to specialise in a subject gaining both a qualification and experience.
