Staffordshire County Council have pulled together the county's five main bus operators to create the 'knot' bus ticket.
This ticket which costs £7 and enables people to travel on services operated by First Potteries, D&G, Arriva, Midland Classic and National Express West Midlands. There is no limit on the number of journeys and you can travel as far and wide as the services allow.
Tickets can be bought on the bus using cash or contactless but you can find out more by visiting www.staffordshire.gov.uk/theknot
It offers a great value for travel so hopefully will prove popular with local residents.
The new scheme was launched by the County Council following a survey held by independent body Transport Focus. The survey suggested that whilst most people were happy with their journeys, sometimes it was confusing when switching operators.
Although the County Council does not officially run any services themselves, they are responsible for overall transport issues and so work closely with bus providers throughout the area.
