NHS Artificial Intelligence in Health and Care Award – The AI Award is ran in partnership with the NHS, the National Institute for Health Research and the Accelerated Access Collaborative. It will make £140 million available over three years to accelerate the testing and evaluation of the most promising AI technologies which help meet the strategic aims set out in the NHS Long Term Plan. National Lottery Community Fund – This programme offers up to £3 million in funding over three years to empower the voluntary and community sector to work together with local health and care institutions to boost health and wellbeing within the community. Small and large projects welcomed
Road Safety Trust – Have opened their themed grants progamme, the theme this year is ‘how can technology be used to reduce road offending and improve road safety?’ the team want to hear of projects which generate new knowledge, translate ideas into new measures, influence road safety and support partnership working. Grants available for up to 2 years ranging from £10k to £200,000.
Hospice UK Dementia & Mental Health Support – Hospice UK has announced grants of up to £40k for projects which improve the physical environment which adults and children in hospices deliver their care. The grants aim to address the inequality to widen access to hospice care, particularly for those with dementia or a mental health condition.
Wolfson Foundation Funding for State Funded Schools& Sixth Forms – High achieving secondary schools and colleges can apply for a grant towards the cost of capital projects. Schools can apply for projects between £15k-£100,000. Past projects have included science labs, music halls, new servers and IT equipment and new art workshops.
IET Grants for Engineering – Funding available to support UK based educational projects which nurture and increase engineering knowledge amongst young people (5yrs-19). Funding also available for projects which support widening engineering literacy. Two levels of awards, up to £5k for standard applications and up to £15k for bigger projects.
BBC Children in Need – Non profits supporting disadvantaged children can apply for small grants of up to £10k per year for up to 3 years to help children overcome illness, distress, abuse, disability, psychological difficulties, poverty or other forms of deprivation.
Thomas Wall Trust Skills Grants – Grants of up to £5k offered to charities who support core activities that increase literacy, numeracy, digital and additional skills likely to help young people into employment. Charities applying need to have been registered with the Charities Commission for at least 3 years.
Ironmongers Foundation – STEM project grants to support initiatives that encourage young people to study science projects at school and go on to pursue engineering related further education. Grants are made to registered or exempt charities with a preference to those working with youth under the age of 25.
Grow Wild Youth Funding – Funding for young people. Individuals can apply for grants of up to £500 to come up with a creative idea to celebrate and share why UK native plants and fungi are so special. This can include transforming local spaces, photography and music, drama and film, planting or science experiments.
Postcode Community Trust Magic Little Grants – Small grants for local community projects, max spend £500. There are 900 grants up for grabs and past projects include sensory kits for disabled children to attend dance classes, activities to encourage participation in Rugby League, free transport for older people to access sporting activities and more…
Football Foundation Funding – Grow the game grants providing £1500 for organisations wishing to set up women or girls football teams and disability teams. Applications welcome from non profits hoping to start their teams over the next two years.
