Funding for Staffordshire Armed Forces projects

Staffordshire County Council are inviting local groups to apply for funding to help support their local Armed Forces Communities.

Under the Armed Forces Covenant Local Grants programme, funding of up to £20,000 is being made available for projects that help bring together Armed Forces and civilian communities or to deliver local services to the Armed Forces Community.  The scheme is open until December 2019 so there's plenty of time to get involved.

Further to this an additional £2 million programme has been put forward to fund renovations and improvements to veteran's community centres. Grants of £30,000 to £150,000 are available for projects in the area.  All applicants for this must be Armed Forces charities with an existing building which requires refurbishment.
