Funding for cycling programmes

The Places to Ride fund has re-opened to help develop and improve new and existing cycling facilities across England.

The Government has committed £15 million to the programme and it will be delivered over the next three years through a partnership between British Cycling, Sport England and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

If you have a project that encourages people from different backgrounds, ages and abilities to engage with cycling, this may be the fund for you.  The fund can also help connect local communities to address barriers engaged with cycling and recognise the wider benefits of riding a bike from promoting health to reducing social isolation.

Applications are welcomed from now until January so get your projects in to the team!
