Funding available for shovel-ready plans

The Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership is inviting private sector businesses and third sector organisations to submit business cases for funding for shovel-ready projects.

The Government's 'Get Building Ready' funding means that up to £5m is available for large capital projects, deliverable by March 2025 which stimulate economic growth across Staffordshire.

Projects which will help create and safeguard jobs, deliver commercial floor space, support new learners and new businesses and unlock new transport routes (roads, cycles, walkways etc). Some match funding is expected, the teams can work with you, depending on the project put forward.

You can see examples of the projects funded so far at: https://www.stokestaffslep.org.uk/delivering-growth/deals/getting-building-fund/

For any discussion on potential projects contact the LEP Change Manager, Bev Dajani on beverley.dajani@enterprisestokestaffs.org.uk.

I hope this funding can be put to some good use across Tamworth and the villages, particularly for those businesses, waiting on funding to expand, improve of start up locally.
