The Commonwealth Games wants your cars for the opening ceremony!
Cars made in the Midlands are wanted to feature in the opening of the Commonwealth Games this summer. The Midlands has long been known as the ‘engine’ of the United Kingdom, not just for the hard work and innovation but for the fantastic history of car building.
We know Tamworth is famous for the Reliant Robin and so many people across the town work for JLR and Aston Martin. Making around 40% of the British cars exported from the United Kingdom, the Midlands really does make the world go round!
Let’s show off your talents at the Commonwealth Games. The ceremony organisers are particularly interested in any rarer vehicles and drivers will need to be able to attend rehearsals in Birmingham in July but mileage will be covered. They want around 70 cars to appear at the show.
