This year my Christmas Card competition has seen primary school children across our town and villages get involved, and for the the first time local social groups like the Brownies and Girl Scouts.
It was fantastic to see so many children flexing their artistic skills to design the front of my card that will be sent out to people and places across Tamworth, as well as to the Prime Minister in Downing Street. After a fierce competition with many designs sent I have picked a winner to go on the front of the card and a runner up to go onto the back.
Winner
Hannah Edgar - Thomas Barnes Primary School (Year 4)
Runner up:
Isla Simpson - Amington 3rd Brownies (Year 5)
Many congratulations to the winner, Hannah, whose excellent Santa on his sleigh drawing was very colourful. I have written a letter to every child who got involved and the winner will soon receive their prize
Keep an eye out for my card
